Position Duties
- Assist Falcon Outfitters Management in efficient and effective operation of the Customer Service & General Merchandise areas.
- Assist Falcon Outfitters Management in supervision of student employees.
- Provide functional direction to Falcon Outfitters CSRs, assign duties and priorities, monitor work flow, and report problems with task completion to management.
- Assist in training Customer Service, Clothing, and Gifts department staff, and be responsible for utilization of student labor to maximize productivity of Falcon Outfitters operations.
- Exhibit and maintain positive relations and offer excellent customer service to internal and external customers, encouraging Falcon Outfitters CSRs to do the same.
- Assist with the opening and closing of Falcon Outfitters and special assignments, such as book events and various promotional events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to supervise others and be responsible for assigned work areas, enforcing all rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Must be able to supervise student employees, providing functional direction and following up on assignments to maintain quality.
- Prior Falcon Outfitters experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are required. Must possess creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be extremely reliable, responsible, and dependable, and present a professional appearance in all contacts, both internal and external.
- Must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to maintain positive employee relations and offer outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Additional training will be required.
- Semester-by-semester evaluation and reassignment based upon performance and availability.
