Job Summary: Part Time Rotating Schedule: Monday - Saturday 8a-8p
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The ideal candidate will support the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels and manage medication storage in compliance with regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Process prescription orders and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
- Participate in patient education initiatives regarding medication use and safety.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
