- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategic planning for assigned assets.
- Oversee revenue, costs, and profitability of assigned assets. Analyze performance data, recommend revenue growth and cost reduction strategies to property teams, and ensure accountability from both on-property teams and Marriott leadership.
- Direct and establish business plans, budgets and forecasts for select assets. Lead on-property teams in addressing financial challenges and ensure delivery of projected results through direct accountability measures.
- Maximize asset potential through strategic project development and execution of new initiatives. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and net benefit reporting for projects, collaborating with operations management to ensure budget compliance and return projections are met.
- Serve as primary liaison with operators and property managers of assigned assets. Evaluate and provide employment recommendations for senior on-property leadership across all managed assets.
- Maintain regular communication with senior asset management leadership, including the SVP and EVP/COO. Provide updates on asset performance through daily, weekly, and monthly communication as needed.
- Engage with clients and conduct direct market research to facilitate long-term planning for sustainable operations and revenue maximization.
- Act as designated representative of the SVP of Asset Management when required, with authority to make autonomous decisions when necessary.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend material capital investment opportunities (including projects exceeding $100 million) for existing assets to the EVP/COO.
- Provide direct support and advisory services in the negotiation of material management agreement amendments with Marriott International.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
