The Project
The M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion.

The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link. Works includes the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.

Position Summary
The Spoil and Logistics Administrator will be responsible for accurate, timely, efficient processing & data entry for the Spoil and Logistics Team. They will become an expert in our project systems such as 3D safety, Linkedsite, Damstra and liaise with internal staff and contractors in an efficient manner.

LinkedSite is project management software developed by ACCIONA to capture costs, quantity and performance information in real time at the lowest level to enable informed conversations around production, productivity, geospatial monitoring, chain of responsibility compliance, sustainability, safety, procurement management, event management, cost and revenue forecasting and planning and scheduling.

Key accountabilities for the position

  • Be a strong vocal advocate of Linked Site, highlighting the benefits of the system to both internal and external users
  • Maintain open and proactive communications with both subcontractors, suppliers and project staff to ensure a highly efficient and accurate capturing of costs for works performed on the project sites.
  • Site administration including but not limited to:
  • Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Data entry, including the projects spoil tracker
  • Strong relationships with contractors and the project team in general
  • Play an integral role in Plant and Truck commissioning/onboarding in line with project specifications and program deadlines
  • Become an expert in project systems (3D safety, Damstra and Linkedsite) and be a reference point for Contractors and the internal team
  • Implement and maintain procedures to achieve high performance in safety, quality and environment
  • Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced written & verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Construction experience preferred but will consider other industries
  • Proficient skills in the following software: MS Excel, MS Word, Email.
  • Ability to learn new technology and software quickly & thrive in a fast moving environment
