Job Summary
Under general direction, supports the design and implementation of strategic projects that integrate health, mental health, and education systems; performs a variety of duties related to building capacity of statewide partners in the effective delivery of school-based behavioral health services programming; as a member of the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Integrated Systems Support team, acts as a liaison with county offices of education statewide to carry out contract/grant deliverables; performs other related duties as assigned.

$158,453.60 per year (2025-2026 salary schedule) plus benefits $868.87 per mo. for single health coverage and $1,493.27 for 2-party or $1643.27 for family (includes med, dental, life, vision, TSA options)

This office is establishing an open eligibility list for the Coordinator, Health and Wellness, Statewide Support position. Candidates on the eligibility list may be considered for any full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions while this list is active.
The Coordinator, Health and Wellness, Statewide Support will support large-scale school-linked behavioral health initiatives across California. This role will manage communications, contracts, and administration for funding programs that help Local Education Agencies (LEAs) maintain and expand school-linked behavioral health services. The Coordinator will also work closely with County Offices of Education (COEs) to facilitate shared learning, support program implementation, and provide tailored assistance to build long-term capacity in meeting student mental health needs
NOTE: This position is funded by two grants under the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) and is currently scheduled to conclude on June 30, 2028. Continuation of employment beyond this date is contingent upon the availability of additional funding, which is not guaranteed.

LOCATION/WORK SCHEDULE
• Work Location: SCOE main campus, Mather, CA
• Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
In-person work is the industry standard for educational entities such as SCOE. Hybrid telecommuting opportunities may be available depending on job duties and department needs.
EXAMINATION/SELECTION PROCESS
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete remotely administered examinations, requiring a computer, webcam, and microphone. If you are unable to participate remotely, contact the designated representative before the deadline to make alternate arrangements.
• Exams (Written/Performance Exam, followed by Oral Examination): Exams are slated to begin the week of October 20, 2025
• Final Interview: Held in person, date to be determined
