About The Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports a seamless and secure experience for residents, staff, and visitors. You will bring both your technical expertise and a people-centered approach to maintain, improve, and support the systems that help our community thrive.
The desired candidate will possess a strong interest in progressive technologies and a willingness to learn new skills and must be resourceful, a quick learner and have good problem-solving skills. Must be a team player, have good communication skills and the ability to prioritize daily tasks. This position is responsible for configuring, deploying and supporting company computers and software applications as well as user account management.
What You Will Do
- Provide end-user IT support to team members and residents
- Troubleshoot, resolve hardware and software issues on company computers
- Lead and assist with software system design and deployments
- Create new and maintain existing IT documentation not limited to Inventory/Asset Tracking, Installation Guides, and How-To Guides
- Provide end-user training and assistance with community engagement software applications
- Assist in asset tracking and inventory management using company enterprise software
- Enforce IT policies and procedures, encourage best practices
- Manage end-user Active Directory and Office365 accounts
- Effectively prioritize and manage projects and work schedules
- Manage, monitor Life Safety system and devices
- Card Access management of devices, printer and badges
- Develop and enhance modules for the Kendal work order system
- Maintain workload using the Kendal work order system
- Monitor and maintenance of LAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure hardware/software
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Experience in providing IT hardware and software system support
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Skilled and knowledgeable in Microsoft and Apple products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Cisco IOS CLE and Meraki preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint and Office365
- Ability to analyze and pair IT software systems according to business needs
- Strong documentation skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working within a healthcare community desired
