Senior Director, Transformation

About the Role
As Senior Director, Transformation, you will lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and measurable outcomes. Serving as a senior change agent, you will partner closely with executives and business leaders to define transformation priorities, align resources, and implement best practices across the organization. This role requires exceptional leadership, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex environments while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design, execution, and management of large-scale transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Driving strategic planning and prioritization of transformation activities in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Overseeing business case development, financial modeling, and ROI analysis for transformation programs.
  • Aligning cross-functional teams to transformation goals, ensuring collaboration and accountability across functions.
  • Building governance models and operating frameworks to support transformation efforts.
  • Identifying and building process improvements, best practices, and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of initiatives.
  • Monitoring and reporting program progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and the board as needed.
  • Leading executive stakeholder expectations, reporting, and engagement, requiring significant discovery and analysis.
  • Partnering with business leaders to drive organizational readiness, adoption, and long-term sustainability of change initiatives.
  • Coaching and mentoring teams to build a culture of continuous improvement and transformation excellence.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy consulting, program management, or related leadership roles, ideally supporting automotive and/or manufacturing clients.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide change and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience implementing and delivering advanced technology solutions (AI, RPA, automation, analytics, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior executives, board members, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in financial modeling and business case development.
  • Track record of leading cross-functional transformation programs with governance, prioritization, and stakeholder management frameworks.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling executive-level updates.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support enterprise initiatives and executive engagement.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is (180,000 - $230,000)
