We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Logan at Jomax, a 141+ unit Class A/Conventional property. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assist in all aspects of property maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and attractive living environment for residents. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Logan at Jomax, a 141+ unit Class A/Conventional property. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assist in all aspects of property maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and attractive living environment for residents. Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Support: Assist in conducting inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to maintain property integrity and functionality. 
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team members, assisting with scheduling, training, and tasks to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. 
  • Safety and Compliance: Support in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies through inspections and prompt issue resolution. 
  • Budget Assistance: Assist in managing the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while upholding quality standards. 
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. 
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment, tools, and supplies, overseeing inventory levels, and procurement processes. 
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours and on-call responsibilities, ensuring resident safety and satisfaction. 


  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of property maintenance experience. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs. 
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong team collaboration and support skills. 
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. 
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for interactions with residents, staff, and vendors. 
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role. 
  • Background Check: Successful completion of background and drug screenings. 
  • Nice to Haves: Relevant certifications such as Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT), HVAC certification, Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
