As a Quality Assurance Analyst I, you will ensure the reliability and accuracy of our software, directly supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient care outcomes. In this role, you’ll become a product expert by working full-time on one product line while also contributing as a valued backup across other products. You’ll apply proven QA methodologies, collaborate closely with R&D, and expand your knowledge in clinical workflows and software testing. What You’ll Do

  • Create and execute basic test scripts and predefined manual tests for assigned products/projects.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using the defect tracking system.

  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings with your product line team.

  • Present live software demonstrations to your assigned product team.

  • Travel to client sites as needed to test software in their environment.

  • Ensure solutions meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and user satisfaction.

 

SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Qualifications


What You Bring

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Understanding of testing types, including Unit, Functional, Integration, Regression, and Acceptance Testing.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and document software defects.

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Aptitude for understanding technical processes.

  • Effective collaboration with other departments and management.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Quality Assurance software testing tools.

  • Familiarity with qTest, Jira, and Confluence.

  • Experience working in Agile Development environments.

  • Knowledge of GUI applications, including clinical software applications.

  • Understanding of CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System).

 

Location: North Palm Beach, Florida 

 

Education & Experience:

  • High School or equivalent, AS, AA degree or must have an equivalent combination of work experience andor education

  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role or related position

Desired:

 

  • Bachelors degree Computer Science, Computer Information, Health Information, or other related degree

  • Military experience

 

Certification(s), Licenses:

  • Optional:

    • CSQA, CSTE, or ISTQB certification, Clinical/Medical/Pharmacy License, Clinical Informatics
