We are currently looking for a results-oriented, pro-active and highly qualified Sales Representative to join our team. In this role you will be responsible to ensure solid growth within the North American market. You will have the opportunity to deliver major impact on our business while developing and implementing the projections, forecasts and long-range planning strategies that will fuel our success today and into the future.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of a strong international sales background within the flexible packaging industry, analytic depth, communication skills, negotiation abilities, and familiarity with working within a decentralised organisation.

Primary Duties

  • Increase the Bag-in-Box market share in North America through extensive prospecting, managing the process including generating leads, bidding for new work and developing innovative supply solutions. Develop new customer interactions, either directly or through reseller partners.
  • Lead the creation of strategic vision and targets in order to drive profitable growth and value for both Smurfit Westrock and Key customers.
  • Full involvement in customer negotiations and overall project management and accounts' budget.
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including R&D, quality, finance, supply chain and marketing to identify opportunities for innovation, and activation to advance our position with customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the results obtained to establish any possible variations and take corrective action in that regard.
  • Analyse the market for competitors and possible products which improve on the performance and utility of current products.
  • Advise GM and business owners at the earliest opportunity of any concerns they may have about the sales performance of the business and/or its processes.
  • Support exponential market growth in North America.
  • Play a critical role in strengthening the sales group across Bag in Box North America.
  • Deliver strong long-term results in a very competitive market.
  • Extensive travel across North America will be required.
