Job Description:🌟 What You Will Do
As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in keeping lives and property safe by ensuring sprinkler systems meet all safety standards. You’ll perform quality inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.
How You Will Do It
✅ Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and installations of life safety products (and competitive brands)
⚡ Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
💻 Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop
🛠️ Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision
📅 Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete assignments on time
📄 Read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
🤝 Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
🔒 Always follow safety guidelines and procedures
➕ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:✅ What We Look For
Required:
🧯 5–10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
📜 REM-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement)
🔧 Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
🗂️ Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
🛠️ Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters
💪 Physical ability to lift/move 50–70 lbs & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
⏰ Flexibility to work on-call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
🚐 Valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record
🛡️ Ability to pass background & drug test
😀 Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner
Preferred:
🔧 Repair experience
💧 Backflow Certification
🎖️ NICET Level II Certification
