We are seeking a data-driven, strategic Product Manager who will be responsible for guiding the development of Specialty Benefit products from conception to launch, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with business goals. The ideal candidate has experience in Product and ancillary business and has strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for continuous improvement.

 

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the strategy, development and launch of products that meet customer needs and align with business objectives.  This role owns the product lifecycle from concept through delivery, ensuring a clear roadmap, market differentiation, and value creation.  The Product Manager will collaborate closely with product enablement, marketing, operations, sales and analytics teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and bring solutions to market that drive growth, improve customer experience, and support the company’s strategic goals. 

  • Manage activities of the department, including but not limited to planning, problem-solving, staff development and communication.
  • Define the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and launch products.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through development, launch, and iteration based on user feedback.
  • Partner with marketing team to develop and deliver communication/marketing plans that educate and update stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future enhancements. Conduct deep-dive analysis on usage, retention, and revenue trends.
  • Translate business and customer needs into clear requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and enhancements.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.  Master's Degree in related field considered a plus.  
  • Four (4) years experience in a leadership role.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years experience in at least two subject areas; benefits, health care delivery systems, information systems, marketing, operations, product development or sales.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in Product Management. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and to work with internal and external clients to identify needs and develop solutions.
  • Ability to lead a team and to work effectively with all areas of the corporation.
  • Possess a high degree of creativity and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems.
  • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
