Network Infrastructure Engineer II bei Networking Technologies + Support (NTS)

Networking Technologies + Support (NTS) is a leading regional provider of high-tech integration services to businesses, government groups, healthcare institutions and educational facilities.

 Responsibilities Include:

• Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements

• Perform network upgrades and migrations.

• Monitor network security and implement security measures.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network reliability and performance.

• Train and mentor junior network engineers.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Requirments:

• Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree

• Working Conditions - This section addresses the physical environment in which the employee will perform the work.

• Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. ☒ Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel.

• General office environment. ☐ May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.

• Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. ☒ Prolonged periods of working alone.

Pay: $28-$30 per hour.  This is for M-F 8-5, with possibility of flexing hours according to site availability

Preferred Education/Licensure/Certification Required:

Licensure/Certification Preferred: Certified Network Infrastructure Technician (CNIT) or Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) certification or Cisco Certified Network Administrator CCNA

Minimum Qualifications

Years and Type of Required Experience · 3+ years of experience cable testing and installation · 3+ years of experience of physical installation of networking hardware · Basic understanding of Network configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting · Basic understanding of Network architecture/design tools · Basic understanding of Python/Ansible for building and maintaining scripts
