Job Description: Field Distribution Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Area Service Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (In office/Hybrid)

Position Summary 

The role is responsible for overseeing the movement and accuracy of parts across multiple locations, ensuring timely and efficient coordination of outbound orders. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting shipping operations, and delivering excellent customer service through precise data management and process facilitation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred among locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments into computer database
  • Close shop packets received and purge computer database
  • Receive and issue finished goods into computer database
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and customers
  • Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired
  • Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
  • Have a full knowledge base on state regulations and rules pertaining to DUI, ignition interlock and alcohol monitoring


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum
  • Minimum of 1 year Inventory Control experience
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
  • Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
  • Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
