About the Role:
As a Therapist at Evolve in Lebanon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals through addiction recovery challenges by providing expert counseling and therapeutic interventions. Your work will focus on facilitating emotional healing, promoting psychological well-being, and empowering clients to navigate life transitions and crises effectively. You will conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster resilience and behavioral change. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of clients within the health care services environment. Ultimately, your efforts will help improve clients' quality of life and mental health outcomes, making a meaningful impact in the community we serve.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Valid professional license or eligible for licensure within 90 days in Tennessee.
- Experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
- Strong knowledge of individual and group therapy, and behavioral health principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and experience with the addiction recovery process.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary health care services setting.
- Training or certification in specialized therapeutic techniques such as anger management or trauma-informed care.
- Familiarity with local mental health resources and community support systems..
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and anger management.
- Support clients through life transitions and behavioral health challenges by applying evidence-based counseling techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure integrated and continuous care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with developments in mental health counseling and therapy to enhance service delivery.
- Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups as needed to promote mental health awareness.
