The program

The AIR 5428 Pilot Training System partners with the Australian Defence Force for development of its military pilot workforce at four operating bases, RAAF Base East Sale, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Williamtown. Implementing a tailored learning solution, Lockheed Martin leads the delivery of this approach for all Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army candidates; as well as supporting operations for other key Australian Defence Force aviation units.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

Under general direction, the Flight Scheduling Officer in Bullsbrook, WA is responsible for gathering, summarising, interpreting, reporting, and maintaining information regarding schedule activities; planning and developing current flight schedules resulting in efficient service, optimum use of aircraft and other resources; modifying, revising, and providing economic analysis of schedule plans.

Duties:

  • Plan Daily and Weekly Scheduling activities within the current scheduling environment

  • Transact with Ultra FP in the promulgation of the DFP

  • Program short term training events

  • Provide each operating unit a single SME POC for update to and co-ordination of the DFP

  • Provide input to continuous improvement activity
