Your role 

The Junior Salesforce Developer supports CFT’s Salesforce platform through hands-on development, configuration, and troubleshooting. This role is designed as an entry/mid-level technical position. The Jr. Developer will gain mentorship from the Salesforce Solution Architect, learning best practices while building skills in Apex, Lightning, and integrations.
 

This role is onsite in our Dallas office at least 3 days per week. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Assist in building and enhancing custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation and test coverage.
  • Support data migrations, integrations, and automation under guidance of the Solution Architect.
  • Maintain Salesforce objects, page layouts, reports, dashboards, and user settings.
  • Provide troubleshooting and tier-2 support for Salesforce issues.
  • Support release management and testing activities.
  • Work closely with the Solution Architect to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements that align with business needs.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the IT Solutions team.

 

Experience you bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 1 or more years of Salesforce development or administration experience.
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required within 6 months of hire).
  • Additional certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
  • Eager to learn and grow technical Salesforce expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
