Description

The Warehouse Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of incoming shipments and merchandise at our company. This position will manage the receiving department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.

Receiving Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
• Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
• Supervise and train receiving staff as required
• Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
• Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
• Monitor and control operational costs
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
• Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
