We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) to join our specialized cardiac care team. This role is vital in supporting the Electrophysiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures, focusing on the electrical mapping and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Procedure Preparation: Prepare the electrophysiology laboratory for procedures, including setting up sterile fields, patient monitoring systems, and specialized equipment.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care before, during, and after the procedure, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Technical Assistance: Operate and manage complex electrophysiology and cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Data Management: Record, analyze, and interpret electrophysiological data (EP studies), including intracardiac and surface ECGs, to assist the physician.
- Procedural Support: Assist the physician during procedures such as cardiac ablations, pacemaker implants, and cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implants.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure all systems are functioning correctly throughout the procedure.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedural events, patient data, and equipment use.
Skills
- Cardiovascular Expertise: Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias).
- Technical Proficiency: Expert in operating and troubleshooting specialized EP equipment, including mapping systems and stimulators.
- EKG Interpretation: Proficient in interpreting complex surface and intracardiac electrocardiograms.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly focused, with a keen eye for detail in a high-risk setting.
