About the role

Join our 31-bed mixed surgical ward (including Paediatrics & COB) at Cabrini Brighton. You’ll work with a specialised, friendly team that supports one another while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

As a Registered Nurse, you will practice independently and collaboratively, taking accountability for your actions and delegating care appropriately. This is a great opportunity for experienced acute care nurses seeking a positive change.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours and fixed days negotiable.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients and the multidisciplinary team

  • Deliver care aligned with Cabrini’s organisational goals

  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality

About You:

You are a strong communicator with sound surgical experience, flexible in approach, and naturally compassionate and empathetic.

You will also have:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent

  • 3–4 years acute surgical experience (Orthopaedic, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Breast/general surgery)

  • Victorian Working with Children Check

  • Commitment to Cabrini’s Mission and Values
