We are currently looking for a Full-time Assistant Teaching Professional staff member to join our team at Quail West.

The Assistant Teaching Professional will Assist the Director of Court Sports with running and managing all aspects of the Racquets Programs including on court Pickleball instruction. (Tennis not required).
- This is a Full-Time position
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am - 3pm
- Pay Rate: $22.00/hour + commission!

Job Tasks / Primary Duties
- Run private and group lessons, team practices, social events, and other scheduled programs for a broad range of age groups.
- Assist in organizing clinics, events, and tournaments.
- Proactively communicate and engage with membership to organize lessons, clinics, and events.
- Light maintenance of the Pro Shop and Tennis, Pickleball courts on a daily basis as needed.
- Assist the Director of Courts in coordinating monthly Pro Shop inventory – clothing, racquets, strings, grips, etc.
- Light administrative work for programs, tournaments, exhibitions, and inter- and intra-club social events.
- Administers and enforce club Pickleball policies and procedures regarding play on club courts.
- Coordinates maintenance, repair, and cleaning of courts with Grounds and Maintenance departments.
- Markets Pickleball facilities to members and guests.
- Maintains a close working relationship with other club professionals.
- Assists Food and Beverage Director, Executive Chef, Banquet and Catering Manager to coordinate food and beverage service support for pickleball events.
- Is visibly present on the courts during peak periods of play.
- Attends all staff and management meetings
Requirements
- Possess strong organizational, written and time management skills.
- Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self-actions.
- Must be compliant with and actively support a drug free workplace.
- Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written.
Qualifications:
- Able to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults.
- Ability to re-grip and repair paddles
- Knowledge of Pickleball equipment and industry trends
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- Preferably with a 4.0 or above rating.
- Experience in running events and programs.
- Knowledge of court maintenance.
Licenses and Special Requirements
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications.
- Current Pickleball Teaching Certification.
