Senior Specialist, Quality Assurance

Location: Kingstree, SC

Onsite

 

As a Senior Specialist within our Quality team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Quality department through document creation and revision, audit support, and the entire document retention program. You will also be responsible for helping in maintaining all Quality Management System metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, track, and trend metrics for all Quality Management Systems.
  • Maintain all intermediate and finished product batch record files. This includes, but is not limited to the following; binds completed batch records into permanent binders, purges files of released lots at maximum records retention period, shift files to maximize file space, assisting employees with finding needed information in the batch files. 
  • Serve as a key user for TrackWise and Documentum.
  • Educate staff on quality standards and procedures. This may involve creating training materials and conducting workshops to ensure that all employees understand their role in maintaining quality.
  • Assist plant personnel with document creation and revision requests through the electronic database.
  • Assist with maintaining deviations in the TrackWise system. 
  • Additional responsibilities as identified by Kingstree leadership team.

 You Bring:

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 2 years of direct experience in Quality Assurance preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience with GMP.
  • Knowledge of FDA food good manufacturing practices (GMP) 21 CFR 110.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Monitoring preferred.
  • Ability to understand a complex biological and chemical manufacturing process.
