About Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group: Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group, LLC (NSNJ) is the lottery growth management services provider selected by the New Jersey Lottery to supply game design, sales, and marketing under a 15-year agreement extending through June 2029. Responsibilities
The territory for this role is northeast NJ (Hudson, Passaic, Bergen, part of Essex and Union counties). Candidate must live in or within 30 minutes of this territory.
This role is instrumental in promoting NJ lottery’s products to increase brand awareness and drive sales, acting as the face and voice of the brand.
Responsibilities
• Conduct promotions in bars, restaurants, social clubs, corporate locations and traditional lottery retailers.
• Interact with new & existing players, educate them on product features and answer any questions and concerns.
• Define a plan to target select high opportunity locations to help build monthly promotional schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, retailers and other departments within the company.
• Maintain appropriate usage of promotional materials and coupons in lottery retailers.
• Gather customer feedback and insights on products and market trends, sharing this information with the marketing and sales teams.
• Monitor and report your daily findings such as sales numbers, key contact information, promotional pictures and opportunities.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Travel within territory nearly 100% of time worked.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be available to work a non-traditional schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• Must live in close proximity to area of coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or sales/marketing or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of related sales experience, retail or wholesale preferably brand ambassador.
• Previous beer and wine industry experience a plus
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact and build rapport with customers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance to represent our company positively.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
• The ability to develop innovative ways to promote the brand and engage audiences.
• Must be able to produce written materials that are clear, concise and easily understood.
• Must feel comfortable working in locations that serve alcohol.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,264 - $73,882. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
