Wood is recruiting now for Riggers Advanced – Oil & Gas (Offshore) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth, as we ramp up with mobilisation dates starting from mid-December through to 2026, supporting one of our key clients in Oil & Gas.
With a proven track record in complex offshore environments, Wood is setting new standards in safety, efficiency, and sustainability. You will join a high-performing team delivering world-class maintenance, engineering, and operations expertise on one of the most innovative energy projects on the planet.
This is a casual contract on an even time roster 3:3 FIFO with 12-hour day or night shifts.

Wood’s “Operations” APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
You will have:
- A strong commitment to safety
- Ability to pass an offshore pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
- Proven experience working in Oil & Gas offshore industry
- An ability to communicate well at all levels

You will be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location.
- BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET/T-FOET + CA-EBS – 4-year validity
- MSIC
- Work Safely at Heights – 2-year validity
- HRWL – Rigging Advanced (RA)
Desirable:
- Escape Chute - 4-year validity
- Advanced Rigging and Advanced Scaffolding VOC - 3-year validity
