QA Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer, with a strong product and systems
mindset. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling and enhancing our
automation frameworks, while driving quality across Web and API platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to ensure
high-quality releases.
● Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like
Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
● Execute automated tests and report results with defects and logs.
● Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab
CI).
● Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify system requirements
and resolve issues.
● Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
● Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and utilities for reusability and
scalability.
● Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test
automation.
● Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements.
● Document test results, test coverage, and automation metrics.
Skills And Experience
● 3+ years of Strong experience in automation testing using Cypress,
Playwright,Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, or Cucumber.
● Proficiency in programming languages like Java, or JavaScript.
● Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid).
● Hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
● Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
● Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail,
Zephyr).
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
● Experience in Performance/Load/ Accessibility testing.
● ISTQB Certification or similar.
