Job Description:

   

HPE develops and deliver leading portfolio of Compute solutions that digitally transform businesses across industries. This role is responsible for coordinating the Compute supplier funding optimization for top deals, and to develop 'win rooms' to systematically and successfully win strategic partnerships. The position reports into the WW Compute Category Leader.

In this role as Deal and Margin Optimization Lead you:

  • Are the deal pricing advisor, supporting geographies, to win top strategic deals.
  • Work with the Sourcing Supply Chain team to optimize use of supplier funding.
  • Provide the cost relief programs requirements, review them with Supply Chain, BU, pricing and finance, and coordinate execution across Geo, pricing and finance stakeholders.
  • Deliver strategic advisory in support of top strategic deals.
  • Develop a 'win room' process to timely plan and negotiate must win deals requirements, supported by strategic deals supplier and internal funding.
  • Develop the greenfield hunting pricing strategy and coordinate adoption across Geos.
  • Analyze trends and provide feedback on the pricing and portfolio logic.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • BA or BSc in Business / Marketing / Computer Science (MA, MSc, MBA a plus).
  • 8+ years’ experience in pricing, program management, deal optimization or strategic deals management.
  • Advanced business analytics skills.
  • Understanding of the Compute market and the suppliers ecosystem.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, cross functional and virtual teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills combined with business management excellence.
  • Language Requirements: English (required), additional language (preferred).
