S3 International (S3I) is seeking an experienced International Business Developer to report directly to the President of S3 International. This position is in Huntsville, AL and is not a remote or hybrid position.

Position Description:

The selected individual will be responsible for identifying future business opportunities in aviation training, logistics, aircraft maintenance, technical assistance, C4ISR operational support, and strategic planning for partner nations through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.  The individual will assist other principals in S3I in developing and executing the biannual strategic business plan for bidding, winning, and executing overseas opportunities.  The Business Developer will provide in-depth research of potential FMS business opportunities and identify executive level decision makers throughout various customer agencies and organizations (both Governmental and Non-Governmental).  This person identifies FMS opportunities for business expansion; populates, reviews, and maintains the S3I opportunity pipeline (OPL); develops and manages relationships in strategic FMS markets; and accounts for realization of S3I revenue goals and targeted growth.  Targets and initiates contact with major prospective FMS customers via US Government contacts or direct contacts with foreign representatives. Researches and develops plans to accommodate Commercial Registrations, ITAR and EAR requirements before contract award and implementation of approved transition operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing or National Security

  • Fifteen plus (15+) years of overall related experience

  • Ten plus (10+) years of experience in both international marketing and program management

  • Ten plus (10+) years’ experience providing executive level briefings and the ability to present corporate briefings to embassy Chiefs of Mission or potential FMS customers

  • Five plus (5+ years of experience marketing in the middle east

  • Five plus (5+) years working in industry as business developer or in program manager

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally at least 25% of the time

  • Possession of a valid, unexpired US passport
