Key Responsibilities
- Greeting residents upon arrival and providing a warm welcome.
- Room readiness for any new admissions, and readmissions. This can include but is not limited to:
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address any room-related issues.
- Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and appropriate equipment is in place.
- Place welcome bags in the room for every new admission.
- Place welcome sign on the door for every new admission. (if applicable)
- Serve as the main point of contact for all new residents and their families during the initial adjustment period.
- Conduct daily check-ins with each new admission for 7 days following their arrival and complete a daily questionnaire.
- Complete discharge surveys on the day of discharge.
- Identify and address any questions, concerns, or unmet needs the resident or family may have.
- Communicate concerns promptly to the IDT to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Provide empathetic and proactive customer service that reflects the facility's commitment to quality care and resident satisfaction.
- Support initiatives to improve resident satisfaction and build a welcoming environment.
- Provide updates to leadership on trends, concerns, or opportunities for improving the admissions process and resident onboarding experience.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous health care experience.
- Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term-Care facility experience preferred.
