Job Title: MBO Project Manager

Objective of the Position:

This role is intended to ensure that ProTrans’ strategic initiatives are executed with discipline, visibility, and full alignment, maximizing the operational return of each key business objective.

Job Summary:

The MBO Project Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing the coordination, governance, and execution of the Management by Objectives (MBO) strategy across ProTrans’ active workstreams. This position is instrumental in aligning strategic priorities, driving operational excellence, and facilitating cultural transformation as the company enters a critical phase of stabilization and growth following the successful launches of the VW and BMW programs. The MBO Project Manager will ensure that all MBO initiatives are executed with precision, fostering accountability and performance-driven results in alignment with ProTrans' broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Governance & Execution Oversight

- Design, implement, and manage robust governance frameworks to ensure consistent tracking and execution of MBO deliverables at daily, weekly, and milestone levels.

- Oversee structured reporting processes to provide timely updates on MBO compliance, issues, and resolution status.

- Collaborate with functional leaders to enforce accountability and drive ownership of MBOs across all teams.

2. Performance Management & Reporting

- Develop and maintain real-time performance dashboards, escalation logs, and KPI trackers to enable proactive decision-making.

- Provide comprehensive executive-level reports aligned with the MBO cadence, focusing on financial, operational, and compliance metrics.

- Identify key areas of success and performance gaps, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Carrier Management, Facility Operations, Finance, and Technology, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

- Ensure teams understand and manage interdependencies across workstreams, promoting cohesive execution of MBO initiatives across departments.

4. Standardization & Best Practices

- Lead the development and implementation of standardized tools, templates, and processes for MBO initiatives, ensuring transparency and reducing variability across the organization.

- Proactively identify and address execution gaps, providing coaching and operational discipline to improve execution across teams.

- Drive a consistent approach to MBO tracking and reporting, ensuring alignment with best practices.

5. Culture & Change Enablement

- Cultivate a results-driven culture by reinforcing accountability, measurable outcomes, and transparency at all levels of the organization.

- Partner with leadership to align team performance with broader business goals, fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience, preferably within a high-velocity logistics or manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

- In-depth understanding of operational KPIs, financial metrics (cost-to-serve, yield, AR recovery), and performance management principles.

- Proven experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks, dashboards, and standardized execution practices across multiple teams.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive accountability and foster collaboration at all organizational levels.

- Comfort in facilitating executive-level discussions, daily operational stand-ups, and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
