Role Title: C4I Engineer

Role Description:

• Provide expert advice and support to the Engineering Manager in the ongoing management of the Tranche 2A AIR6500 Capability Definition Documents (CDD) in the C4I domain. 
• Develop detailed written reports and other artefacts guiding engineering decisions such as requirements validation on C4I matters.
• Participate in applicable working groups, technical reviews and workshops as directed by Engineering Manager.
• Conduct review of Industry-supplied artefacts and partake in Industry-led activities such as the development of the Functional Baseline as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in identifying C4I related risks and quantifying, managing and implementing risk mitigation actions. 

Essential Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering field or related technical discipline.
• Experience working in an engineering role in support of Defence acquisition projects.  
• Five years working experience in the areas of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I). 
• Experience working with modern distributed network architectures.
• Able to obtain NV2 security clearance.
• Strong verbal communications, coupled with strong technical writing skills.
