Location: The role will be a remote position located in the United States.   

Compensation: The salary for this role may range between $130,000-165,000

About the role

Our Information Security Analyst Sr will help plan and carry out the organization’s information security strategy. They develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization and recommend security enhancements to management as needed. They develop strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach. Security Analyst Srs are also responsible for educating the workforce on information security through training and building awareness.

 

As a Security Analyst Sr you will:

  • Conduct penetration testing, in which you'll simulate an attack on the system to highlight or find any weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party.
  • Monitor, track, analyze and record incidents to ensure protection from any potential leaks of malicious activity.
  • Act at the intermediate-expert level and address current security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor, configures, and responds to Security alerts.
  • Maintain vulnerability management systems to aid in risk assessments and works with departments to ensure timely remediation of issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Process periodic scans and audits of networks to find any vulnerability.
  • Oversee the success in a nationally and internationally recognized operational environment.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience
  •  3-5 years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
  • CompTIA Network+ preferred
  • Familiarity or previous experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, firewalls, vulnerability management

systems, and endpoint security products

  • Knowledge at the intermediate-expert level of current security risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
