The Role

Are you passionate about developing safe and nurturing relationships with children?

Our Creche Workers support the planning and delivery of quality creche services that meets the care and educational needs of children. This role provides play experiences that enhance engagement in their learning and development of safe and nurturing relationships. 

This role will be offered on an on-going casual basis based in Cannington and various outreach locations as required.

 

About You

You’re passionate about providing positive learning experience for children. You are keen to work alongside a team to ensure child safety is maintained, and play experiences are prepared each day. You value opportunities for children to experience creative, imaginative, social and physical play sessions, and work towards creating new activities to do this. You will also hold:

  • Qualification in a relevant field such as Early Education and Care or relevant experience working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

  • Intermediate communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Foundational computer, numeracy, and literacy skills.

  • Foundational organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

  • Intermediate interpersonal skills, with the ability to be open and responsive and to work in a team environment.

  • Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date), valid drivers’ licence, Working with Children Check
