About this Position
The role is responsible for driving the Sales & Distribution strategy for the Consumer Business across defined channels and markets. The position involves appointing and managing distributors and field force teams, ensuring effective market penetration through Go-To-Market initiatives, and growing business. The incumbent will play a critical role in enrolling and managing large outlets, ensuring category-level visibility, and implementing the right merchandising practices to strengthen brand presence.What you´ll do
Strategic Responsibilities
- Appoint Distributors and Field force for Consumer Business.
- Complete Sales & D responsibility as per Go-To-Market defined channel and markets
- Grow business with the help of distributors/SSM and merchandiser/promoters.
- Enroll large outlets for business and visit them as per PJP to drive sell out and sell in
- Ensure share of shelf is maintained and at category level.
- Ensure right merchandising tools are implemented
- Monthly market intelligence report on category landscape.
Financial Responsibility
- Ensure financial hygiene and financial exposure risk at zero level
- Ensure complete supervision on scheme delivery to General Trade customers.
- Ensure monthly remittance plan is closed with Distributor for business.
- Monthly claim submission on time and cleared
- Market expiry and Damage control with the help of RSM

- Minimum Experience of 8 Years
- Prior experience of working for FMCG brand is a must.
- Strong analytical ability to read and act upon data for decision making.
- People management, excellent negotiation skills, good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Goal oriented with ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines.
