Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Project Manager to join our Business Development team, helping to drive our expansion on EXP recruiting and onboarding, practice acquisition, succession, and M&A. This role is critical in driving our most important strategic initiatives from concept to execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and excels at cross-functional collaboration.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Take ownership of high-impact business development projects, leading them from ideation through to implementation and delivery.
- Project Execution: Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and success metrics to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization—such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Legal—to align efforts, uncover dependencies, and ensure unified execution.
- Program Design & Overview: Build comprehensive project and program overviews, including business cases, implementation roadmaps, resource plans, and risk assessments.
- Leadership & Influence: Act as a central driver of progress, removing roadblocks, managing stakeholders, and maintaining accountability without direct authority.
- Executive Communication: Prepare and present concise updates, strategic briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze past project performance and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in business development, corporate strategy, or a related function.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-departmental projects with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience in high-growth or transformation environments.
- Background in consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic planning is a bonus.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
