HOUSE SUPERVISOR ER - Nights bei Lawrence County Memorial Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of registered nurses and other healthcare staff.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing regular feedback and coaching.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution to ensure efficient and effective operation of the unit.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between staff, patients , families, and healthcare providers.
• Handle patient complaints and address any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Schedule:

• Nightshift, 3-12 hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

License/Requirements:

• IL RN License (Required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ER setting, with at least 2 years in leadership role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered car and team -oriented approach.
