The Treasury Management Officer (TMO) is responsible for prospecting, establishing and maintaining Banking depository relationships, presenting sales presentations, setting up new treasury management services, and cross-selling to existing clients.
What You'll Do
- Establishes, builds, develops, and maintains professional Banking relationships with clients and prospects who utilize deposit accounts and treasury management services.
- Develops and presents innovative tailored presentations to key clients and prospects on relevant topics such as Treasury Management Services, Private Banking, IntraFi ICS/ CDARS and Fraud Prevention.
- Represents treasury management in joint client meetings with Bank officers and lenders.
- Drives new non-interest deposits and fee income by prospecting new customers and working with existing business customers to add treasury management products and services.
- Performs and completes treasury/cash management analysis for clients and prospects to uncover needs and challenges, then offers solutions that genuinely address them.
- Assists with the set-up of new treasury services with clients/prospects.
- Assists with treasury management annual audits and risk assessment requests.
- Establishes, builds, develops, and maintains treasury relationships with retail operations, deposit operations, compliance and lending staff.
- Assists treasury management operations staff with trouble-shooting and general support.
- Assists across all community and metro markets as needed or requested by management.
- Travels to branch locations in Oklahoma 2 – 3 times per week or as needed. Meets with existing customers that require additional services, prospects for new customers, and joins lenders at their prospect meetings.
- Recognizes fraud threats & trends, red flags, scams, phishing, etc.
- Stays current on applicable Banking regulations and security procedures and practices to prevent fraud or other Bank losses and to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Performs responsibilities during Bank hours by being physically present in the Bank an average of 40 hours each week based on business needs.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of banking experience. 1-3 years of Treasury Services experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of Bank products, computer systems, and software applications.
- Excellent client service skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
