Fabrication Welder

Summary

Responsible for laying out, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding metals to create the desired product; inspect and test welds and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Machining fabrication materials and components.
• Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.
• Cutting and welding with a variety of processes.
• Metal forming, bending, and finishing.
• Repair, design, layout, and estimation.
• Overseeing shop hands or helpers.

Education and/or Experience

Technical School or High School Diploma, and 2+ years experience or a combination of education and experience. Certification preferred.
