Location: York, PA

Working Hours: Mon-Fri. 7:00am-3:30pm

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for efficiently packing and preparing products for shipment in our fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Packing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive accurate and timely orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stock pickers, carts, and pallet jacks safely and effectively
• Accurately and neatly pack products into boxes or shrink wrap according to customer requirements
• Print labels using WMS feature and apply labels and packing slips onto cartons ensuring that all documentation is accurate and legible
• Stack cartons onto pallets accurately and neatly in preparation for the shipping team to shrink wrap and stage the pallets
• Reading and comprehending instructions/procedures/fulfillment documents
• Cleaning area and equipment on a regular basis, sweeping and dusting
• Report damaged inventory and inventory discrepancies to inventory team
• Picking orders following the picking procedure when requested or needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must complete a background check and pass drug screen
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a warehouse environment

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Desired

• Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)
• Warehouse management system (WMS) knowledge strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management
• Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed
• Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision
