Reporting to the Assistant Dean, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address different learning styles and ensure that students successfully meet the course objectives and outcomes. Adjunct faculty also incorporate learning centered principles and concepts and motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational experience. We are currently hiring for the following courses: AUT 231 001, Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles
Adjunct Faculty are responsible for student evaluation as well as timely and accurate reporting such as attendance verification, academic progress, and final course grades. They also provide leadership in program promotion as well as support student success initiatives.
AUT 110 600, Engine Service I
AUT 243 600, Adv Engine Control Systems
AUT 111 600, Automotive Power Trains
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or relevant ASE Certification(s) with 4000 hours of work related experience in the field. Preferred Experience Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles. Engine Service and Advanced Engine Control Systems. Automotive Power Trains. Previous classroom experience. Recent industry experience. Experience teaching traditionally underserved populations. Experience in teaching in multiple instructional modalities. Experience in utilizing Learning Management Systems.
