Sterile Processing Coordinator bei Harrison County Hospital

The Sterile Processing Coordinator, is under the direction and supervision of the Surgery Manager, is responsible for coordinating the function of the Sterile Processing Department. He/she is responsible for meeting the established Nursing Service's Standards of Care, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Position available: Full-time, Days, 40 hrs/wk, M-F

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST)
• Minimum 3 years experience in Sterile Processing

SKILLS:

• Organization
• Some computer skills
• Medical terminology familiarity
• Filing
• Copy machine usage
• Knowledge of equipment/supplies and instruments

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Annual Fire/Electrical Safety Training
