Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Per diem position available, on call responsibilities, weekends/nights

Perform sexual assault forensic examinations on victims when appropriate for collection of forensic evidence, work in conjunction with local law enforcement and District Attorney's if victim moves forward with prosecution and testify in court if needed. Minimum requirement of 24 hours of on call monthly. Previous ambulatory/ED experience preferred. The Center treats persons of all ages and both sexes.
