Admin Team Leader

Charles Hurst Belfast Boucher Road, Vauxhall 

Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00

Up to £29,000 per year (depending on experience)

Charles Hurst is recruiting for a motivated and experienced Administration Team Leader to join our hard-working and friendly team at Belfast Boucher Road. This role will lead and support the administrative function across our operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive team culture.

As an Admin Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of administrators, supporting their development, and driving performance to deliver outstanding service to both internal colleagues and external customers. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in streamlining processes, monitoring compliance, and ensuring data is maintained to the highest standard.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of administrators to achieve departmental goals

  • Allocating and overseeing workload, ensuring deadlines and standards are met

  • Monitoring accuracy of data and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer policies

  • Driving improvements in processes, systems, and team efficiency

  • Acting as the first point of contact for escalations or complex queries

  • Delivering training, coaching, and ongoing development for team members

  • Producing reports and performance updates for senior management

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within administration (motor trade experience desirable but not essential)

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a process-driven mindset

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

  • Ability to manage a busy workload while prioritising effectively

  • Confident IT skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels
