Are you a driven candidate with solid experience? If so, we are looking for you!  We are growing rapidly and looking for Upfit Technicians, who will partner with our team. The role is located at our Alvarado, TX location. You will be responsible for providing quality products to our customers in a timely, cost-efficient manner.



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and set an example for other leaders and colleagues on how to work collaboratively with the highest level of integrity.  



 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

•    Create a safe working environment.

•    Building and Customizing aerial, heavy & light duty vehicles with a variety of parts to customer specs.

•    Wiring electrical components to an assortment of vehicles.

•    Plumbing Hydraulics on an assortment of vehicles.

•    Reading and understanding repair orders.

•    Properly allocating time spent on repair orders.

•    Produce a product that are up to CTE quality standards.

•    Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles.

•    Operate over head and Jib cranes as well as forklifts.

•    Communicate between several departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

•    High school diploma or the equivalent.

•    Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

•    Mechanical experience with aerial and heavy-duty vehicles.

•    Must have your own tools

•    Excellent communication skills.

•    Proficient computer skills.

•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

•    Strong attendance record.

•    Must be able to work off a Repair Order.

•    Must be self-sufficient and driven

•    Valid driver's license
