Your role
We are seeking a KYC Approver to join our Global Banking Client Onboarding team. This role is responsible for performing quality assurance (QA) reviews on KYC onboarding cases to ensure compliance with internal polices and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in AML/KYC standards along with an understanding of capital markets and advisory within investment banking.
Key Responsibilities include :
•Perform QA reviews of client onboarding profiles to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and AML/KYC standards
•Partner with case analysts to resolve issues identifies during the review process, ensuring cases progress efficiently under compressed timelines
•Develop a strong understanding of internal policies and procedures and act as a resource to the case analysts
•Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Business, and Operations to effectively resolve issues and ensure onboarding cases are completed efficiently and on time
•Lead periodic sessions with case analysts to review completed work, identify trends and data quality issues, and promote continuous learning through training and awareness discussions
•Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and promoting best practices

•3+ years of experience in AML/KYC client onboarding, preferably within an investment bank or other financial institution
•understanding of AML/KYC regulatory frameworks, client due diligence, and onboarding practices
•analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex client structures and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
•clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain requirements and findings to stakeholders
•ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deliverables
•collaborative with strong communication and problem-solving skills
•detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to quickly adapt to internal policies and procedures
