Job Summary
Performs the work of a general maintenance mechanic, installation of chain link, metal picket, and wood picket work as needed for the Board of Public Education.
What you will do
- Carries out work orders assigned and supervises employees, assures the work has excellent quality.
- Supervises and performs the work of a general maintenance mechanic.
- Supervises and performs the work of fencing installers (chain link, metal, picket, and wood picket).
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with others; organize and prioritize work effectively.
- Uses and demonstrates to workers the standard practices, proper use of tools and equipment of the general maintenance trade, proper installation of chain link, metal picket, and wood picket work, proper welding, use a jack hammer, and adherence to applicable building codes.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Current TN Drivers’ License Required
Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
