Are you an engineer who loves solving problems, building relationships, and explaining complex technology in a way that clicks? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing Sales Engineering team and act as the critical link between our innovative solutions and customer success.
This isn’t just about sales — it’s about using your technical expertise to shape solutions, build trust, and drive impact.
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted advisor, supporting presales teams by understanding customer needs and demonstrating product value.
Design and deliver compelling demos, presentations, and POCs tailored to customer requirements.
Collaborate with customers to solve technical challenges using Iron Mountain’s digital solution offerings.
Bridge business and technology by providing feedback to product and engineering teams for roadmap enhancements.
Support RFP/RFI responses, develop technical proposals, and contribute to closing deals.
Deliver technical enablement sessions to our partner ecosystem and support their adoption of IRM Digital solutions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitors to maintain a technical edge.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Experience: 7+ years in enterprise solution design, architecture, development, or technical sales.
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on coding experience in Java/Python, Spring Boot, Node.js.
Experience with SDK development, REST APIs, Webhooks, and integrations.
Proficiency in UI frameworks (ReactJS, Angular 2+, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, JSON).
Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt/Context engineering; experience building AI Agents a plus.
Background in Enterprise Content Management, Records Management, BPM, or Digital Transformation preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
