The Role
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator supports manufacturing and operations, ensuring accurate and compliant shipping and receiving for the organization. This is an in office position at our Redwood City, CA location.
Responsibilities & Goals
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for domestic and international shipments.
- Ship Hazardous materials in compliance with applicable DOT, IATA regulations.
- Generate shipping documents, including commercial invoices, BOLs, and DG (Dangerous goods declarations.)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the Seer ERP system.
- Perform weekly cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery scheduling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, (e.g. pallet jack, stacker) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Background & Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- Associate's degree a plus
- DOT/IA TA and/or forklift operators certifications a plus.
- Experience using shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Experience with international shipping and customs documentation a plus
- 2+ years of related experience as a shipping and/or facilities coordinator required,
- 4+ years preferred

- preferred functional knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control procedures
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and/or other database software
Physical Requirements
- You must be able to lift fifty pounds at times.
- Perform various routine physical tasks involved in one or more areas including receiving, storing, packing, picking, and shipping of materials inventory transactions.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, dock lever, etc.)
At Seer, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $30 and $38 per hour, and will depend on the candidates education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan.
