How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive nutritional assessment of patients prioritized to be at risk during the screening process or as a requested consult.
- Develop appropriate interdisciplinary care plans based on current treatment knowledge and clinical practices, discussing care plan with patient and/or significant other and the appropriate staff
- Respond to requests for nutrition education or counseling for patients and/or groups including appropriate materials for continuation of
Education/Accredited Programs
- B.S. Degree in nutrition or dietetics.
- Registration through the Academy Of Nutrition & Dietetics.
- State certification as Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist.
- Master’s Degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
- Achieve and maintain dietetic registration.
- Certification by the New York State Education Department as Dietitian/Nutritionist.
- Certification as Diabetes Educator or Nutrition Support Clinician preferred.
Skills/Abilities
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft).
- EMR utilizationConflict resolution

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $26.77 to $43.00 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
