Responsible for various types of weld preparation, GTAW welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Self-motivated people who want to make a difference should apply. Thin metal welding (less than .060”) is a plus
- Proficient in assigned GTAW welding techniques with thin materials. SMAW welding experience a plus but not required
- Knowledge of different required filler materials for different applications
- Working knowledge of fixturing and welding machine set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
- Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments.
- Welding equipment maintenance.
- Grinder proficiency
- Perform physical inventory when required.
- Wear the proper and required safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Fill out and maintain work order paperwork.
3 years or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. | |
Pay is based on experience and ability to successfully complete required job tasks. | |
Must demonstrate the ability to pass ASME Sec IX weld test in the near future.
