Sr. Design Specialist (Fiber Optic Infrastructure) bei ENTRUST Solutions Group

* Must Be Located in San Antonio, TX *

What You’ll Do:

• Apply sound engineering knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of project assignments with supervision and assistance from other engineers, specialist, and managers
• Perform a variety of basic engineering tasks to assist in the production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents moderate supervision by other engineers and supervisors
• Provide quality control on basic fiber optic infrastructure including field inspections.
• Ability to work 25% in the field and 75% remote. 
• Ability to provide reliable and consistence customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple satisfied customer and deliver projects on time.
• Develop and maintain quality relationships with customers and clients.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Appropriate technical degree or related experience

• 4–6 years of experience in utility design or demonstrated equivalent job knowledge

• Experience with fiber network design and construction

• Knowledge of joint use applications

• Strong understanding of permitting, route planning, and fiber infrastructure field inspections
